She has not only kept our bees healthy and happy but has allowed us to expand our Bee Yard. And as a huge bonus, she extracted our honey to enable us to gift our precious honey and chapstick from our wax, to our dearest friends and family, which is very special to us. After inheriting a hive and finding all of the bees dead in the spring, I was at a loss for what to do. Also, being new to the state of Colorado I was unfamiliar with any of the aspects of beekeeping, let alone at a high altitude. Then I found Danielle. She came to the rescue and repopulated my hives with two varieties of healthy honeybees. She also was there to make sure the bees were thriving, and to teach me how to properly care for them using the most natural and noninvasive methods. I am so grateful for her mentorship and am looking forward to continuing to learn from her!

What’s not to love about bees?!
I always knew I wanted bees, but lacked the skills, knowledge, and confidence to embrace and take on beekeeping until I met Danielle. She has been amazing as a beekeeper mentor - going above and beyond with helping me set up the electric fencing, setting up the hives, and coaching me while also empowering me so I have the necessary confidence. There’s no way I could have learned all of this on my own, and I am so grateful to have worked with Danielle.

Danielle is absolutely incredible. She taught me a lot about what is needed for all predators, helped me make sure I had the correct equipment, went the extra mile to help set up fencing with us and did an amazing job on our electric fencing! She also answered all my many calls and texts after the fact as I had questions and issues. She is still there for me as a resource today and I value her help and knowledge greatly. I don't know what I would have done without her.

Danielle has a true passion for her craft. She is what I imagined a passionate bee keeper to be. Full of excitement about the bees and how they save our planet. Her bees produce outstanding honey. The best I have ever had and I have had many. Especially here in Colorado, I have tried many, as I try to heal allergies in a natural way. Her honey is the best I have ever had. It is the thickest of them all. The flavor is outstanding. I am very excited to have found her and will be her customer as long as she is willing to sell this miracle. We were looking to find some local honey when I stumbled across this one and my only regret was not buying more! The flavor is intense and clean at the same time. I drizzled a bit over a gingersnap cookie as soon as I got home and it was amazing! In our tea, in honey mustard dill chicken and straight from the jar, some of the best I've ever tasted.

I was fortunate enough to purchase 16oz of honey from Altitudes Apiaries. It is simply incredible and pairs effortlessly with a variety of foods. I had never had honey outside of what was available at the grocery store, and I cannot believe what I’ve been missing out on. I cannot wait for the opportunity to purchase more.
